Although it attract members looking for dates, it also accommodateS members who only want to meet new people. The site has been very successful and now has over 500 members. Features include personalised membership pages, favourite friends pages and also Microsoft Outlook type emailing facilities. The site was written in ASP.NET, with a MySQL backend.. NBV Leisure Ltd www.ticketsinadvance.com Based in France in a contractors role, my main task was to develop an e commerce site for the company. My task was to turn the site into a commercially usable ecommerce solution. Once it was developed I had to maintain it, and build on certain facilities to the site, to make it more user friendly. The site sold lift passes, ski equipment etc for ski resorts all over the French alps, and my task was to provide a site which would not only be user friendly, but be a commercial tool for the company. The site was launched in December, and turned over 80K worth of sales in 3 months. The site was written in ASP, with an MS Access backend. Software used: ASP, Javascript, MS Access, Photoshop. |
